•Systemically healthy patient diagnosed
with TMD in the Age group of 20-60
•Limited Mouth Opening <25 mm
•Deviation in Mouth Opening
•Pain During the Mouth Opening or Closing the mouth
•Tenderness over TMJ
•Audible Clicking sound of the Temporomandibular Joint
Age under 20 yrs
•Past history of open surgery in the affected joint or joint injections
•Known polyarthritis (mostly rheumatoid arthritis)
•Ankylosis of the TMJ
•allergy to study medications
•edentulous subjects
•pregnancy or breast feeding
•current physical therapy, muscle relaxants
or antiseizure medications
. Medically compromised patients
•Patient not willing to sign the consent
form
