- Brief Summary
There was a significant increase in Kt/V and URR (%) in the intervention group compared to the control group. In addition, quality of life also improved significantly with KDQOL-36 summary score was significantly higher in the intervention group. Multivariate analysis showed that intradialysis exercise, female gender, and intradialysis diastolic pressure can significantly affect Kt/V changes.

The inclusion criteria for this study are patients aged >18 years, receiving routine conventional HD therapy for >3 months, stable condition with no history of worsening conditions (extra HD) in the last month, and using AV fistula/graft vascular access.
The exclusion criteria for this study are patients with acute clinical infection or sepsis, pregnant or lactating patients, patients undergoing hemodialysis for acute dialysis indications in the last month, malignancy or autoimmune disease, neurological disorders, especially in the lower extremities, and patients with musculoskeletal system disorder that restrict them from participating in intradialytic exercise
