The patients less than 7 years of age
Patients with periocular capillary haemangioma
Patients with visual loss due to proptosis, blepharoptosis, astigmatism, strabismus or optic nerve compression
Patients seeking treatment of periocular hemangioma for cosmetic reasons
Patients who have not recieved any treatment for periocular hemangioma prior to presentation
Very large periocular lesion such as lesion with extension outside the orbit or intracranial extension.
Patients who have received any form of treatment for haemangioma prior to presentation
Children more than seven years of age as lesions tend to disappear by itself in majority of such patients.
Patients not fit for general anaesthesia because of any systemic reason
