Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Fibromyalgia syndrome diagnosed by rheumatologist using 2016 Revisions to the 2010/2011 American College of Rheumatology (ACR) fibromyalgia syndrome diagnostic criteria for atleast 1 year
- •2\. Pittsburgh sleep quality index score of more than 5
- •3\. Ability and willingness to give consent and comply with study
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Co\-morbid conditions like spinal injuries, inflammatory rheumatic diseases, obstructive sleep apnea, uncontrolled endocrine disorders.
- •2\. Current practice of therapies such as mindfulness meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy (or a recent practice of these therapies in the last 6 months)
- •3\. Diagnosed psychological, personality and neurological disorders such as dementia, alzheimerâ??s disease, parkinsonism.
- •4\. Contraindications to CST or Bowen therapy such as acute aneurysms, cerebral hemorrhage, bleeding disorders, pregnancy, systemic infection, dermatitis, healing fractures.
- •5\. Patients who do not tolerate physical touch due to hypersensitivity or discomfort
