Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Informed consent to be taken for procedure
  • •2\. Patients will be undergoing hip surgery
  • •3\. ASA physical status I \& II
  • •4\. Body mass index 18\.5\-22\.9 kg/m2

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients refusing the use of regional blocks or negative consent
  • •2\. Hepatic or renal insufficiency
  • •3\. Bleeding disorders
  • •4\. Skin lesions at site
  • •5\. Infections at site of proposed needle insertion
  • •6\. Allergic to local anaesthetics
