The inclusion criteria encompassed degenerative knee OA diagnosed by x-ray examination on both sides; Grade under III of knee OA levels; over 60 years; and female gender.
Participants were excluded if they had any deformity of the knee, hip or back, had any central or peripheral nervous system involvement, had received any medication or previous surgery, used the pacemakers, had any internal metallic materials, had a history of impairment of a major organ system or a psychological disorder, were uncooperative, or received physiotherapy treatment in the past 6 months.
