简要总结

Non carious cervical lesions are difficult to restore due to their position and presence of sclerotic dentin. Numerous materials were tried for restoration of non carious cervical lesions. In all of them, Resin modified glass ionomer cement was considered the gold standard in restoring non carious cervical lesions. Recently, universal injectable composite came into market for same purpose.  Therefore, aim of our study is to clinically compare these two materials for restoration of non carious cervical lesions

入选标准

  • Co-operative healthy subjects willing to participate in the study and sign the consent form.
  • Subjects having a minimum of 2 such noncarious cervical lesions in their mouth.
  • Subjects having noncarious cervical lesions involving enamel and dentin.
  • Subjects having good oral hygiene.
  • Subjects aged 18 years and above of either gender.
  • Subjects should have at least 20 permanent teeth.

排除标准

  • Subjects unwilling to sign the consent form.
  • Previously restored or fractured teeth.
  • Medically compromised, mentally challenged adults.
  • History of existing tooth sensitivity.
  • Pregnancy or breast feeding subject.
  • Chronic use of anti-inflammatory, analgesics and psychotropic drugs.
