Inclusion Criteria
all pregnancies with singleton fetus with cephalic presentation over 37 weeks of gestation , with reactive fetal heart rate pattern and unfavourable cervix or unfavourable Bishops score with no contraindication for vaginal delivery
Exclusion Criteria
previous LSCS or any uterine surgery,
malpresentations,
grandmultiparity
abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
allergy to prostaglandins
