A minimum 40 samples would be chosen in this study suffering from Dementia.

Case taking of patients will be done as per standardized case recording proforma of National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata.

Each case will be studied properly through evaluation of each and every symptom, and construction of a qualitative totality of symptoms.

Patients will receive individualised homoeopathic medicine after repertorisation from Kent’s Repertory.

Relevant investigations will be done as and when required.

Inclusion and exclusion criteria will be strictly maintained.

Each case will be assessed periodically to follow up the medicinal action through clinical assessment, expert opinion and relevant lab investigations.

Change in MoCA test will be recorded at base-line and after 6-months of the treatment

入选标准
- •Patients having symptoms of dementia.
- •Patient willing to participate in the study after submitting their written informed consent forms.
- •Patient of both gender and all religion.
- •Patient belonging to age group of 50 to 80 years.
- •Patient must know either of the 3 languages- Bengali, Hindi or English.
- •Lifesaving conventional drug therapies (e.g., antidiabetics, antihypertensives, thyroid drugs, etc.) for comorbidities under control, to be continued uninterrupted.
排除标准
- •Currently receiving homoeopathic treatment for any chronic condition(s).
- •Diagnosed cases of unstable mental or psychiatric illness or other systemic disease affecting quality of life.
- •Uncontrolled, unevaluated, and/or complicated diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and other comorbidities; cases with other serious systemic unevaluated or uncontrolled diseases affecting quality of life.
- •Substance abuse and/or dependence.
- •Self-reported immune-compromised state.
