The informed patient and, in the case of minors, their legal guardians must have consented to participate in the study. The diagnostic documents which are relevant for the individual examinations (outcomes) must be available and have been prepared as part of a medically indicated dental-orthodontic diagnosis and treatment. An exception is the saliva sample to be obtained as part of the study. In addition, only systemically healthy patients or patients with mild systemic and well-controlled diseases should be included in the study.
Patients with serious systemic diseases and known genetic and non-genetic syndromes as well as traumas or operations in the head and neck area
