stay of at least 2 weeks at intensive care unit
- written consent
- cardiogenic shock
- extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, impella
- myocardial infarction (STEMI) within the last 7 days
- RR <80 mmHg despite catecholamines
- neuromuscular diseases
- Diabetes
- known myopathy
- adiposity >II
- abnormality of the skin within the area of Stimulation
- psychiatric diseases, Delirium
- pregnancy
- metallic implants of the legs
- progressive and fast course of a disease, which doesn't allow to see the effect of the treatment

Name Time Method Improvement of the STIMFIT5-Score in comparison to the control group.<br><br>The Score depends on:<br>- 6-minute-walking test<br>- repetitions in Sit-to-Stand-Test (30 sec.)<br>- repetitions in going to tiptoe (30 sec.)<br>- repetitions in extending the knee in a supine position<br>- repetitions in lifting the leg in a supine position

Name Time Method - muscle thickness and cross sectional area of musculus vastus lateralis measured by ultrasound<br>- Quality of life (PHQ9)<br>- study dropouts due to adverse events
