Inclusion Criteria
Cluster B personality disorder according to DSM-IV
Exclusion Criteria
There are the usual exclusion criteria for inpatient psychotherapy. Patients with acute suicidality, acute substance abuse, Brain diseases and other physical disorders, which objects inpatient psychotherapy, will be excluded.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method nder the condition of a specific manual guided psychoanalytic-interactional method a significantly greater improvement is expected compared to a comparison group under the condition of dynamic psycho-therapy as usual in terms of improving the level of mental functioning (Borderline Personality Inventory, BPI), as well as the overall symptom severity in the global symptom index (SCL-90-R-GSI). The level of mental functioning and the symptom severity of patients are assessed at the beginning of the waiting period, at admission, at discharge and after six and twelve month after discharge with the Borderline Personality Inventory (BPI) and the SCL-90-R (GSI).

Name Time Method nder the condition of a specific manual guided psychoanalytic-interactional method a significantly greater improvement is expected compared to a comparison group under the condition of dynamic psycho-therapy as usual in terms of improving anxiety symptoms, depressive symptoms and interpersonal problems. <br>The symptoms of the patients are assessed at the beginning of the waiting period, at admission, at discharge and after six and twelve month after discharge with the Beck Anxiety Inventory BAI (anxiety symptoms) and the Beck depression inventory BDI (depressive symptoms). The extent of interpersonal problems are assessed at the beginning and end of treatment with the Inventory of Interpersonal Problems (IIP).
