- •Patients with major depression based on the Hamiltonian scale and clinical interview based on the DSM5 criteria

- •History of bipolar disorder and other psychiatric disorders
- •Use of other antidepressants
- •Patients with suicidal ideation
- •Liver disease or impaired liver function test
