Inclusion Criteria
1)All trauma patients with hand injuries who were admitted to A.J Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Mangalore for more than 24hours.
2)Patients willing to participate after filling consent form.
Exclusion Criteria
1) Unwilling and uncooperative patients.
2) Burn Injuries of hand.
3) Hand injuries, older than 3 days.
4) Hand injuries who do not require any intervention.
5) Hand injuries not requiring admission.

Name Time Method To study the demography, epidemiological characteristics and risk factors of casualties suffering from hand injuries.Timepoint: Demography, Epidemiological characteristics and Risk factors of casualties suffering from hand injuries will be assessed on admission to hospital.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To describe the location, tissue damage and typical patterns of hand injury and to rate the severity of hand injuries caused by trauma and examine the possible relation between injury severity and mode of injury.Timepoint: Typical patterns of Hand injury and possible relation between injury severity and mode of injury attending to a Tertiary Care centre will be assessed on admission to hospital until discharge from hospital.
