Adults (aged 18-70years) of either sex ,admitted in ICU and diagnosed as a case of severe acute pancreatitis, defined as persistent single or multiple organ failure for >48hr based on 2012 revision of Atlanta classification.
1. Refusal for consent
2. Pregnant patients
3. Any contraindication for Hyperbaric oxygen therapy such as cavitary or current tuberculosis, heart failure, pulmonary edema, acute purulent sinusitis, severe glaucoma, hypercapnic respiratory insufficiency with PCO2 > 60mm Hg, previous rupture of inner earâ??s membrane, sinus bradycardia, inflammation of upper respiratory tract, epilepsy, claustrophobia
4. Patient on mechanical ventilation support
