入选标准
- •Group 1 \- Preterm babies \< 32 weeks diagnosed with Metabolic bone disease, now reached 2 years CGA group
- •Group 2 \- Preterm babies \< 32 weeks without Metabolic bone disease, now reached 2 years CGA group
- •These children will be followed up at the Follow up clinic of SAT hospital, Govt Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram with parental consent for the study.
- •The subjects for this study are the children followed up at 2 years corrected gestation age (\+ 1 month), both with and without metabolic bone disease which was obtained from the Department registry maintained for the same. The operational definition used for defining Metabolic Bone Disease was Serum Phosphorus \< 4mg/dl and/or Serum Alkaline phosphatase \> 800IU/L.
排除标准
- •Significant systemic illness that affects growth such as Chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease
- •Children diagnosed with skeletal dysplasias
- •Lack of parental consent for the study
