入选标准
- •1. Age 18-65 year
- •2. Patient who was previously diagnosed with GERD or newly diagnosed at out patient department
- •3. Must have heartburn symptom
- •4. No history allergy to aloe vera or omeprazole
- •5. Free from GERD treatment for 3 days prior
排除标准
- •Pre-randomization exclusion criteria
- •1. During pregnancy or lactation
- •2. Other gastrointestinal problem such as peptic ulcer, obstructive disease, irritable bowel syndrome
- •3. Alarm features including gastrointestinal bleeding, anemia, involuntary weight loss) , recurrent vomiting, odynophagia
- •4. Liver disease
- •5. End stage renal disease
- •Post-randomization exclusion criteria
- •1. Cannot tolerate side effect of aloe vera or omeprazole
- •2. Not follow the protocol
- •3. Use other drug or herb to treat GERD
- •4. Pregnancy after enrollment
- •5. Health or psychological harm
- •6. Participate decided to withdraw
- •7. Loss follow up at 2 or 4 weeks
