Inclusion Criteria

1.Mechanically ventilated patients who get ready to wean
2.Mechanically ventilated patients who fail the first attempt of spontaneous breathing trial
3.Age > 18 years
4.Conscious patients with RASS = 0, able to communicate and follow commands

Exclusion Criteria

1.Refuse to be enrolled to the study
2.Patients with hearing problem and/or blindness
3.Patients with chronic respiratory failure, including baseline PaCO2 > 45 mmHg, long term oxygen and/or home ventilator use
4.Patients with severe psychiatric disorder
5.End of life care patients
