Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • stable circulation;
  • pulmonary embolism proven in contrast enhanced computed tomography;
  • signed patient consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • contraindications to MRI (pacemaker, claustrophobia, adipositas per magna); pregnancy; unstable circulation; patient unable to give consent; delay of therapy due to MRI examination
