1. Patients fulfilling the criteria for Major
Depressive Disorder or Bipolar Disorder
currently in depression as per the DSM 5
criteria.
2. Current Hamilton depression rating scale (HDRS-
17) score of >7.
3. Any gender.
4. Age more than or equal to 18 years.
5. Able to comprehend Hindi or English.
6. Provides written informed consent.
1. Patients with evidence of organic brain
syndrome or Intellectual Disability.
2. Depression secondary to any other cause
(depression secondary to any other primary
psychiatric diagnosis like OCD, Schizophrenia
etc.).
3. Actively suicidal patients.
4. Voilent/uncooperative patients.
5. Patients who are medically unfit to
participate.
