•Participants from 18 to 60 years old; which are indicated for total crowns on posterior permanent teeth; which are available for clinical follow-up throughout the evaluation period; participants willing to pay for laboratory costs; willing and able to undergo periapical / interproximal radiographic examination when necessary; be in accordance with the Informed Consent Form (TCLE); general health consistent with the clinical evaluation period; maxillo-mandibular relationship and occlusal stability.

•History of allergy to some of the materials to be used in the research; pregnancy at the beginning of the experiment; use of drugs that may interfere with the oral environment; systemic or malignant diseases at the start of the study; impossibility to be submitted to the specific techniques for conducting the research; insufficient space for proper preparation of crowns; patients with parafunctional habits; pillars that endodontically and periodontally do not show predictability until the end of the evaluation period; periodontal disease; high risk of caries; absence of more than one tooth in the posterior region; unsatisfactory oral hygiene; use of removable partial dentures.
