- •Patients who are inoperable as per surgical decision, or 2. those who die within 72 hours of surgery, 3. patients with preoperative chronic renal insufficiency (serum creatinine >1.5 mg/dl)4. Patients with past history of acute kidney injury (based on medical records) and 5. Patients receiving renal replacement therapy currently or in past
