Inclusion Criteria
- •all patients undergoing elective esophagectomy surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients who are inoperable as per surgical decision, or 2\. those who die within 72 hours of surgery, 3\. patients with preoperative chronic renal insufficiency (serum creatinine \>1\.5 mg/dl)4\. Patients with past history of acute kidney injury (based on medical records) and 5\. Patients receiving renal replacement therapy currently or in past
