Inclusion Criteria
. Scheduled for CABG surgery
2. Either sex
3 . Age group 40-70yrs
4. Ejection fraction >40%
5. ASA Grade II & lll
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients not willing to participate in study
2.Uncooperative patients
3.Patients with history of drug allergy to beta blockers.
4.Patients with pre-existing, Asthma, Renal or Hepatic dysfunction.
5.First degree AV block.
6. Heart rate <50 beats per minutes
7.Mallampati score more than 2
8.Patient contraindicated for beta blocker agents .
9.Pregnancy/Lactation

Name Time Method : To compare the effectiveness of mode of administration of i.v. injection of bolus esmolol and i.v infusion of esmolol to attenuate the haemodynamic response to laryngoscopy, endotracheal intubation and sternotomy in the form of - <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>ï?¬Heart rate <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>ï?¬Systolic blood pressure <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>ï?¬Diastolic blood pressure <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>ï?¬Mean arterial blood pressure <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>ï?¬Spo2 <br/ ><br>Timepoint: till sternotomyor till 20th minute of induction of general anaesthesia.
