- •Diagnosed to have hypertension as per JNC7 guidelines
- •Either on or not on treatment
- •With or without left ventricular hypertrophy
排除标准
- •Under 18 years of age
- •Congenital Heart Disease
- •Acute Coronary Syndrome
- •Aortic stenosis / regurgitation
- •Isolated mitral regurgitation
- •Rheumatic heart disease
- •Eccentric hypertrophy on 2D echocardiography
- •Pericardial disease
- •Arrhythmias or conduction blocks
