入选标准
- •All hemodynamically stable patients with traumatic chest injury who present within 48 hours of injury with hemothorax or hemopneumothorax
排除标准
- •1. Excluding paediatric age group 18 yrs or younger and also 80 years or older.
- •2. Massive hemothorax needing thoracotomy
- •3. Hemodynamically unstable patients.
- •4. Patients having Traumatic brain injury
- •5. Patients having significant air leak at presentation
- •6. Patient needing intubation and mechanical ventilation on presentation at Emergency Department (ED)
- •7. Other associated injuries that prolongs hospital stay
