Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients with newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia by 4th edition of WHO criteria
- •19 years of age or greater
- •Patients will receive intensive induction therapy
- •Female patients of childbearing potential must have negative pregnancy test results at entry.
- •Ability to understand the study objectives and willingness to sign written consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •Have other active malignancy
- •Pregnant of lactating women
- •Patients who have no desire to participate in the study
- •Isolated extramedullary myeloid sarcoma
- •Diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) (FAB classification: M3\).
