•Children aged 6 to 12 years who displayed negative or definitely negative behavior according to the Frankl behavior rating scale
•Visiting the pediatric dentistry department for the first time

排除标准

•Children with general health problems or limited communication abilities
•Children with previous dental experiences, or suffering from acute tooth pain
•Children whose mothers declined to participate in the study
