•1.Systemically healthy patients
•2.Patient with healthy and stable soft tissue architecture
•3.Patients with 1 implant placed with functional restoration with keratinized mucosa < 1mm , who were able to maintain oral hygiene around dental implants.
•4.Patients with thin gingival phenotype
•5.Co-operative, motivated and hygiene conscious patients.
•6.Peri-implant probing depth <3mm
•7.No signs of pre-exsisting peri-implantitis.

•1.Patients with systemic diseases that would have influenced bone or soft tissue metabolism
•2.Pregnant or lactating females
•3.Tobacco smokers
•4.Uncontrolled medical conditions precluding elective surgery
•5.Untreated periodontal conditions
•6.Patients treated with any medication known to cause gingival hyperplasia
•7.Drug and alcohol abuse
