Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1.Patients with clinically suspected lesions of tinea with positive microscopic examination with history of topical or systemic steroid use prior to study.
  • 2.Patients of either sex, aged 18 -65 years
  • 3.Willing to give written informed consent to participate in the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1.Pregnant and lactating women
  • 2.Patients having clinical diagnosis of tinea infections other than tinea corporis, tinea cruris and tinea faciei.
  • 3.History of use of antifungal drugs in past 4 weeks
  • 4.History of known allergy to study drugs.
  • 5.Patients with severe comorbidities: mental illness, liver and renal disease, cardiac failure and other co-existing dermatological diseases
  • 6.Immunocompromised patients and patients on Immunosuppressive drugs during study duration or in past 2 weeks.
