At least 2 to 3 of the following symptoms must be present
1 Acute dysuria or acute pain, swelling or acute tenderness of testes epididymis or prostate
2 Fever or leukocytosis
3 Acute costovertebral angle pain tenderness
4 Suprapubic pain
5 Gross haematuria
6 Incontinence of urine
7 Increase in urgency
8 Increase in frequency of urination
Urine culture bacteriuria with equal to or greater than 105 cfu/ml
Patients of both sexes between age group of 18-60 years irrespective of their occupation religion and socio-economic status will be enrolled for the study
Patient who give their consent for study
Pregnant and lactating mothers will be excluded from the study
Patient suffering with impaired renal function
Patient suffering with diseases having gross pathological changes and malignancies
Patients who received treatment with antibiotics within 48 hrs prior to entry
patient who denied for the consent
