- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary endpoint is the postoperative length of hospital stay from the time of admission to the ICU in group 1 or from the time of PACU admission for group 2 until hospital discharge. This data will be taken from admission/ transfer and discharge dates documented by the hospital's data management system.

Name Time Method - total length of hospital stay<br>- preexisting health conditions (neurologic, cardiac, pulmonary, <br> hepatic, nephrologic, Diabetes)<br>- continuous intake of anticoagulants and/or platelet aggregation <br> inhibitors<br>- demographics (age, body mass index, sex)<br>- Length of stay in the ICU or PACU<br>- postoperative complications (infections of the central nervous <br> system, postoperative bleeding, ischemia, brain edema, <br> thromboembolism, bloodstream infections, urinary tract <br> infections, pneumonia, death)<br>- 30 and 90day all-cause mortality and readmission rate<br>- percentage of patients who were admitted to the ICU after initial <br> PACU admission (conversion rate)<br><br>This data will be taken from electronic patient files and anesthesia protocols documented and archived by the hospital's data management system.
