Inclusion Criteria

traumatic meniscus tear, age of patient >18 and <45 years, operation within the first 6 weeks after injury at our institution

patients place of residence: munich

MRI and standard x-ray preoperatively

Exclusion Criteria

age <18;>45 years
arthrosis (ICRS > III)
multiligament injuries
degenerative meniscus tears
meniscus root tears
