Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients more than 18 years of age with intercostal drain for chest trauma
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with preexisting lung pathology
- •Other preexisting chronic painful conditions (E.g. malignancy, chronic pancreatitis, etc.)
- •Patients with GCS less than 15
- •Contraindications to intrapleural block
- •â?? Allergy to local anaesthetic
- •â?? Extensive block site infection
- •â?? Emphysema
- •â?? Bullous lung disease
- •â?? Recent pleural disease or pleurodesis
- •â?? Empyema
