Inclusion Criteria
- •dysphagia from a stroke that was confirmed by a videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS)
- •able to swallow voluntarily
- •Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score =24.
- •possible avtive cooperation and communication
Exclusion Criteria
- •implanted cardiac pacemaker
- •surgical history with steel screws in the body
- •skin problems associated with electrode placement
- •history of seizure or epilepsy
- •unstable medical conditions
