Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients who underwent therapeutic extraction of all the four first premolars as part of fixed orthodontic treatment
  • •2\.Patients requiring maximum anchorage, with 75 % to 100 % of space closure for retraction of anterior segment
  • •3\.Patients treated with 0\.22 MBT prescription
  • •4\. Aligning and leveling phase should have been completed
  • •5\. No other anchorage preservation methods used for the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Presence of any systemic disease
  • •2\. Presence of any local bone pathology evident on a OPG
  • •3\. Patients allergic to titanium
