Inclusion Criteria

Patient group: clinical diagnosis Low Back Pain, localised between the 12th rib and the inferior gluteal folds of 6 months or longer, ability to walk, age between 18 and 70 years.

Exclusion Criteria

acute inflammatory processes (spondylodiscitis, myositis, e.g.), acute or insufficiently recovered vertebral fractures, acute radicular syndromes with- or without sensorimotor deficits, intake of corticosteroids, cardiac pace makers, implantable pumps, metal implants in the area of the cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine and the hip, psychiatric conditions, addiction and pregnancy.
