- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Rigidity of healthy and abnormally changed livers in vivo in indicated laparotomies as well as ex vivo from resected parts of the liver, measured by durometer.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method - correlation between liver rigidity and the Hounsfield scale or values extracted from the MRI sequences
- correlation between liver rigidity and different liver-specific laboratory values (alanine aminotransferase (ALT, ALAT)/glutamate pyruvate transaminase (GPT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST)/glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT), gamma-glutamyltransferase (gamma-GT), alkaline phosphatase (AP), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), alpha-foetoprotein (AFP), bilirubin (direct, indirect), quick value / INR, antithrombin, platelets, ammonia, albumin, cholinesterase, hepatitis serology, serum ferritin)
- Relation between liver hardness and liver diseases (hepatitis, HCC, liver cirrhosis, sclerosing cholangitis, alveolar echinococcosis, cystic echinococcosis)
