Inclusion Criteria

1. All patients admitted to ICU of our hospital were diagnosed as brain injury (stroke, brain injury) by skull CT examination, with GCS score of 3-8 and AgI level II and above(the score of gastrointestinal functional injury refers to the AGI diagnostic criteria developed by the European society of critical care medicine (ESICM));
2. Aged >=18 years old;
3. The family members of the patients agreed to participate in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Severe trauma of chest and abdomen;
2. gastrointestinal motility drugs were used before admission;
3. local skin injuries at Zusanli, Zhongwan, Tianshu, Shangjuxu, xiajuxu, Zhongwan and other acupoints were not suitable for Electroacupuncture;
4. routine blood platelet count < 50*10^9/L or severe coagulation dysfunction (INR > 2.0);
5. severe primary gastrointestinal diseases (such as massive alimentary tract bleeding, mechanical intestinal obstruction and intestinal perforation);
6. hemodynamic instability and shock were not controlled 24 hours after admission to ICU;
7. brain death.
