Registered participants with potentially hormone- related symptoms interested in learning a self- applicable method with potential influence on complaints, well-being and hormone levels of the course: Hormone-yoga class offered by the department Gynaecological Endocrinology and Fertility Disorders
• Minimum age 18 years
• Willingness for regular participation in 10 weekly lessons
• Willingness for 2-6 self-initiated home practice sessions of 30 minutes/week during the duration of the course
• Ability to provide informed consent
• Sufficient knowledge of the German language in speech and writing
• Willingness to complete the questionnaires
hormone-dependent tumors (breast cancer, endometrial cancer)
• Undiagnosed genital bleeding
• Untreated endometrial hyperplasia
• Endometriosis
• Fibroids of > 2 cm
• Pregnancy
• History of cosmetic breast surgery
• Existing or past history of venous and/or arterial thromboembolic disease (especially deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, angina, myocardial infarction)
• known thrombophilic disorders (especially protein C, protein S, or antithrombin deficiency)
• previous heart surgeries, heart disease
• acute glaucoma or prior glaucoma
• Reduced resilient skeletal system, z. B. osteoporosis, bone metastases, inflammatory joint diseases
• spinal disk disease
• Undiagnosed abdominal discomfort, chronic appendicitis, which has not been operated
• inflammation of the inner ear
• Psychiatric problems, psychosis without adequate treatment
