Adult patients of (18-85 years) of either sex, belong to ASA grade I,II,III, scheduled for unilateral knee replacement surgery under combined spinal epidual anaesthesia.
1.Patient not willing to participate in the study.
2.Contraindication of neuraxial anaesthesia.
3.Having hearing and visual impairment.
4.Patients with active infection or open wound of the face or eye area.
5.Having Chronic pain syndrome.
6.Having mental or psychiatric disorders.
7. Duration of surgery more than 3 hours.
8. Intake of medication or drugs influencing the hypothalamo-hypophyseal or sympathetic nervous system.
