- •Paresthesia and dysesthesia of the lower lip, which are classified as 1, 2, and 3 in the Sunderland classification
- •Not performing previous intervention related to nerve damage

- •The presence of mass in the face, jaw and neck area
- •Active infection in the chin and jaw area
- •Involvement of other branches of the trigeminal nerve except the inferior alveolar nerve
