Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Overhead athletes between the age of 18\-35 years.
  • Actively participating in sports competitions at least University level and above.
  • Formally registered in a local, regional, or national sports federation.
  • Athletes who have been suffering from neck and shoulder pain for not more than three
  • At least one active trigger point in the neck and shoulder muscles

Exclusion Criteria

  • Recent surgeries or fractures to the neck or shoulder
  • Shoulder subluxations and dislocations in the last three months
  • Chronic non\-specific neck pain for more than three months
  • Any physiotherapy management or dry needling in the last three months for shoulder
  • Local infection
  • Open wounds
  • Under anticoagulant drugs
  • Diagnosed cognitive deficit
