Diagnosis will be made on the basis of signs and symptoms of Amlapitta viz. Avipaka(indigestion), Klama, Utklesha, Tikta Amla Udgara(sour belching), Gaurava(heaviness), Hrit Kanta Daha(burning sensation in epigastric region and throat) and Aruchi(tastelessness)
Inclusion criteria include patients of age between 20 and 60 years of either gender.
Patients with chronicity less than 5 years.
Patients who are ready to participate and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria are as follows.
Patients with history of systemic illness like diabetis mellitus and hypertension, hypothyroidism, cardiac pathology, immunodeficiency disorders like AIDS and Arbuda
Patients with history of Parinama Shula (gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer), Annadrava Shula, Krimiroga
Patient with history of haematemesis, maleana and anaemia
Patients with drug- induced Amlapitta
Patients with history of alcohol and tobacco- induced Amlapitta
Pregnant ladies

Name Time Method Subjective criteria are <br/ ><br>The effect of the therapy will be assessed on 7th and 15th day on the basis of changes in signs and symptoms of Amlapitta which will be assigned with suitable scores corresponding to severity of each symptom such as Avipaka(indigestion), Klama, Utklesha, Tikta amla udgara(sour belching), Gaurava(heaviness), Hrit Kanta Daha(burning sensation in epigastrium and throat), Aruchi(tastelesness). <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 15 days
