- •Outpatient treatment at the local Lipid Metabolism Clinic of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Infectious Diseases
- •- Internally diagnosed fatty liver disease
- •- Age range 40-70 years, regardless of gender
- •- BMI < 35
排除标准
- •- Non-compliance with inclusion criteria
- •- Withdrawal of study consent
- •- MRI contraindications (e.g., metal implants, claustrophobia)
- •- Pregnancy and lactation
- •- Lack of consent for communication of incidental MRI findings
- •- Associated diseases with the fatty liver having a significantly high impact on neurodegeneration:
- •- Pathological alcohol consumption (moderate alcohol consumption is tolerated)
- •- Liver cirrhosis
- •- Known malignancy
