Confocal laser endoscopy for hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery
- Conditions
- neoplasm in hepato-biliary-pancreatic system
- Registration Number
- JPRN-jRCTs031180021
- Lead Sponsor
- Hasegawa kiyoshi
- Brief Summary
Confocal laser endomicroscopy permitted real-time differentiation of cancerous tissue from surrounding noncancerous tissues on the basis of differences in tissue structure and fluorescence intensity. Fluorescein-spraying facilitated clear visualization of the morphology of cancerous tissues and noncancerous liver tissues.
