Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients with anticipated difficult airway requiring AFOI will be recruited for the study
  • •2\. Age group of 18\-above
  • •3\. ASA grade I\-III

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patient refusal
  • •2\. Patient with restricted mouth opening
  • •3\. Pregnant patients
  • •4\. Patient unable to co\-operate with airway assessment (low GCS, Mental retardation)
  • •5\. Patient which are known case of allergy to local anesthetic.
  • •6\. Patient with coagulopathy.
  • •7\. Patient on anticoagulants or antiplatelet.
