1)Patients of age between 18 to 55 years with apical periodontitis & periapical lesion will be selected in this study.
2)Presence of radiographically visible apical periodontal lesion with minimum size of 2X2 mm will be included in this study (PAI >2) .
3)Any maxillary or mandibular permanent tooth with established periapical lesion will be considered in the study.
4)Asymptomatic cases with established periapical lesion will be selected in the study.
5)Teeth with presence or absence of sinus and clinical symptoms such as pus drainage and pain with apical periodontitis will be included in the study.
1. The tooth which is previously accessed or treated will be excluded.
2. Tooth with weeping canal after cleaning and shaping will be excluded from the study.
3. Patients who have intra-oral or extra-oral swelling , signs of systemic infection like fever, malaise and lymphadenopathy, severe systemic disease, increased stress on temporomandibular musculature will be excluded from the study.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The result of the study will help us to know the possible chances of clinical conditions ( pain, flare up, healing of periapical lesion)in single visit and multiple visit root canal treatment of teeth with apical periodontitis.Timepoint: 24hrs 48hrs,7 days, 3 months , 6 months and 9 months
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Earlier periapical healing in tooth with apical periodontitis was healed by root canal treatment in multiple visits using intracanal medicaments in between the appointments. <br/ ><br>Result of this study will conclude that similar healing can be observed in single visit endodontic treatment.Timepoint: 9 months
