Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients/Relatives of the patients (when the patient is not in a position to give consent or not oriented to time, place or person) who give informed consent for participation in the study
  • 2\.Patients with acute necrotizing pancreatitis with collection after the first week of illness, of age more than 18 years

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients with prior radiological/endoscopic or surgical intervention prior to admission.
  • 2\.Patients diagnosed to have chronic pancreatitis
