Inclusion Criteria
Clinically diagnosed with MCA infarct,
First, ever unilateral stroke either right or left,
Stage 2 or 3 according to Brunnstrom Stages of Stroke Recovery,
Spasticity of at least 1+ or > on the Modified Ashworth Scale,
Able to understand verbal commands.
Exclusion Criteria
Acute stroke < 6 month
Cognitive deficits
Other causes of shoulder pain
Any recent trauma or surgery on the hemiplegic shoulder
Seizures
Sensory deficit
