简要总结
The Achilles tendon is prone to injury in athletes and individuals with physically demanding routines, including aviation students who face prolonged standing, restricted movement, and poor posture. Tendon tightness or shortening, often from repetitive use or inactivity, can impair performance. Rehabilitation commonly involves tendon gliding non-weight-bearing, mobility-focused and weight-bearing exercises strength and load-focused, This study compares the effectiveness of these two approaches in reducing pain and improving Achilles tendon length in aviation students, aiming to optimize rehabilitation and enhance their physical performance.
Participants will be screened for eligibility and randomly assigned to Group A tendon gliding exercises or Group B weight-bearing exercises, both performed for 5 weeks with weekly follow-ups. Ethical approval and informed consent will be obtained, ensuring voluntary participation, privacy, and confidentiality. Outcomes will be assessed using the Nordic Pain Questionnaire (pain) and Weight-Bearing Lunge Test (Achilles tendon length) before and after the intervention. Data will be analyzed using paired t-tests and ANOVA for within- and between-group comparisons
